9. In the purchase of goods and services on promotional discount, senior citizens or people with disability may avail of the promotional discount or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act, whichever is higher, not both.

In compliance with relevant laws, customers who are Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (SC/PWD) may choose between the promotional discount provided herein and the statutory 20% discount. Goods and services purchased by SC/PWD customers who avail of the promotional discount shall also be subject to the statutory Value Added Tax (VAT) exemption. To ensure compliance, the bill or transaction may be split to accommodate the VAT exemption. In such scenarios, the split bills in question shall be considered a single transaction.
